Eindelijk heb ik nog eens een layout gemaakt ! ' t Was al een hele tijd geleden, omdat ik meer met kaartjes bezig was, en omdat er nu ook in de tuin moest gewerkt worden. Alhoewel moest... ik doe dat graag, en als het mooi weer is, zit ik liever niet binnen. Ik zou natuurlijk kunnen scrappen op het terras, maar dan ben ik meteen alles kwijt, met de wind ! LOL
Dit weekend was zo'n beetje regenachtig, dus.... Het is maar een eenvoudige layout geworden, van een lunch bij onze favoriete Chinees, restaurant Wong. Ik had een tijdje geleden mooi chinees papier gevonden, de motieven zijn met glitter. Ik wou dat dus niet teveel bedekken, vooral niet de draak, want dat is mijn chinees teken. Ik hoor jullie al grinniken, maar nee, anders dan bij ons, is in China de draak symbool van sterkte, moed, en het goede, ha, ha !
Op 1 foto kan je het geschenk zien, dat ik in het restaurant kreeg, een houten doosje met eetstokjes. Verder heb ik er ook wat "geluksgeld" of Joss geld bijgekleefd, daarmee wordt er, tijdens het Chinese Nieuwjaar, geluk afgekocht bij de goden.
En ja, vooraleer er weer commentaar komt, ik heb een grote beker ijsroom gegeten, met Grand Marnier nog wel !!! En het was heel lekker !! Voor de rest let ik wel op mijn gewicht, maar af en toe "zondigen" mag. :)))
It has been a long time, but finally, this weekend I made another layout. I was so busy with cardmaking, and of course the garden needed a lot of work too. But I love gardening, and when the sun is shining, I don't want to sit inside. I could try scrapbooking on the terrace, but there is always a lot of wind, and my stuff would be flying !!
Anyway, this weekend it was raining, so... It's only a simple layout, from a meal at our favourite Chinese restaurant, Wong. A while ago, I found some beautiful Chinese paper, the motifs are with glitter, so I didn't want to cover them all. Especially not the dragon, because that's my Chinese Birth sign. Oh yes, I can hear you laugh, but, opposite to us, in China the dragon is symbol for courage, strength and the good.
On 1 picture you can see the present I received in the restaurant, a wooden box with chopsticks. I also included some Joss money or happy money, which the Chinese use at their New Year, to "buy" luck from the Gods.
And, before I receive any comments, yes I ate a big icecream, even with Grand Marnier in it ! And it was delicious !!! LOL I do watch my weight, but every now and then, you're allowed to "sin" !! :)))
