Cas - Clean and simple

Hallo, eerst even iets rechtzetten : ik heb in mijn vorig bericht geschreven dat de stempels van Impression Obsession waren, maar ik heb me vergist : ze zijn van Art Impression ! Oh, ik gooi die 2 merken altijd door mekaar, sorry !
Hier alweer een kaartje dat reeds is aangekomen bij de jarige.  Een "clean and simple" kaartje deze keer. Met de nieuwe Distress kleuren een achtergrond gemaakt en dan een bloem van Magenta embossed.
Nog een prettige zondag !

Hello, in my previous article, I made a mistake : the stamps I used are from Art Impression, not Impression  Obsession.  Sorry !
Now another Birthday card, clean and simple this time.  I made a background with some new Distress colors, and embossed the flower (from Magenta).

A room with a view...

Hallo iedereen, nogmaals hartelijk dank voor jullie leuke commentaren !
Vandaag een verjaardagskaartje, dat al onderweg is.  Ik heb stempels van Impression Obsession gebruikt.  Eerst het raam gestempeld, en de binnenkant (o.a. gordijn) uitgesneden. Het raam gekleurd en dan een andere gestempelde en gekleurde afbeelding erachter gekleefd.  Oh, ik wou dat ik altijd zo'n mooi uitzicht had ! En ik wens het jullie ook toe natuurlijk.  :))  Misschien wel, als je met verlof was, of nog met verlof moet gaan.  Gelukkig schijnt hier nu ook weer het zonnetje, dus kunnen we genieten !

Today a Birthday card, which I already sent away.  I used stamps from Impression Obsession.  First I stamped and coloured the window, and cut out the inner side (with the curtains).  Then I colored the view and glued it behind the window.  Oh, I wish I would have a view like that every day ! And of course I wish that you would have that view too.  Maybe when you were on holiday, or if you are going on holiday soon.   I do hope that you can enjoy the sun, wherever you are !

Wow, dames, hartelijk dank voor jullie leuke commentaren, ik ben er heel blij mee ! En ook enorm blij met de award nominatie van Magenta, reuze bedankt Mariëtte !  En hartelijk welkom aan Mieke, bedankt dat je mijn blog wil volgen !
Tussen de kaartjes door, maak ik nog steeds ATC's om te ruilen op komende beurzen. Hier nog enkele voorbeelden.

Each raindrop....

Hallo, wat een triest en nat zomerweer, maar wel goed voor de natuur, en goed om te knutselen ! Om jullie wat te "troosten", heb ik een kaart gemaakt met, jawel, regendruppels !
Het zijn natuurlijk de beroemde druppels van Designs by Ryn, en ook de hibiscus stempels zijn van haar.  Ik heb bloemen en bladeren ingekleurd met Twinkling H2O; op de 2e foto van de kaart kan je zien hoe dat schittert.  Ik heb er nog geen tekst op gekleefd, wou geen enkel druppeltje verbergen, maar als bijpassende tekst heb ik een spreuk van de beroemde artist, Friedrich Hundertwasser :
Each raindrop is a kiss from heaven (elke regendruppel is een kus van de hemel)
Laat dat een troost zijn voor jullie, als je weer door zo'n bui moet..... 
Verder nog een foto van een echte hibiscus uit mijn tuin, toen het nog droog was.

Hello, we have sad and rainy weather here in Belgium, good for nature and also good to do some stamping !  To comfort you, I made a card with, yes, raindrops !
Of course the famous raindrops from Designs by Ryn, and also her Hibiscus stamps ! 
I colored the flowers and leaves with Twinkling H2O, on the second picture, you can see the shining.
No text on it yet, I don't want to hide the drops, but I found a fitting quote from the famous artist Friedrich Hundertwasser :  Each raindrop is a kiss from heaven.
I hope this will comfort you, when you have to walk through the rain.....
I also include a picture from a real hibiscus in my garden, when it was still dry.

Nog eentje.....

Het is druk deze maand, hier alweer een verjaardagskaartje.  Ik heb eerst een achtergrond met barstjes gestempeld en clear embossed.  Dan de achtergrond  gekleurd (Pistachio).  In de hoeken een sierstempel die ik ook embossed heb.  De bloemetjes zijn stempels en dies van Impression Obsession.

It's busy this month, here another Birthday card.  First I stamped the background (cracks) and embossed with clear. Then I colored the background. Embossed stamps in the corners, the flowers are stamps and dies from Impression Obsession.

Voor een jarige

Vandaag een verjaardagskaartje, dat al aangekomen is.  De achtergrond is met de nieuwe kleuren Distress inkt gedaan, langs de rand wat gestencild met gesso, en de stempel is van Magenta.  Embossed met clear poeder.  De tekst is van Elke Verschooten.
Momenteel is het hier wisselvallig,  dus "knutsel-weer" !  :))))

Today a Birthday card which already arrived.  The background is with the new Distress inks, I did some stencilling with gesso along the sides and the stamp is from Magenta.  Embossed with clear powder.  Text is from Crafts & Things.   Have a nice day !

Enkele vintage ATC's, eentje uit de hippie-tijd (ik heb de bloemetjes apart op het busje gestempeld), en bloemen ATC's (Jofy). De bloemen zijn gekleurd met Twinkling H2O.
