Al is het momenteel buiten nog nat en guur, toch zijn de eerste signalen van de lente er al : zingende vogels, sneeuwklokjes en krokussen die al uitkomen, knoppen aan de takken....
Ik heb primula's geplant, in een pot aan de voordeur, zodat het daar ook fleurig en kleurig is. Deze week heb ik ook wat tuinwerk gedaan, snoeien en vooral opruimen. Dat deed deugd, zo buiten kunnen bezig zijn ! Hopelijk komt de zon ook vlug meespelen, want die hebben we toch echt nodig !
En er komt ook een kindje, bij een lief echtpaar, dat er lang heeft op moeten wachten. Eindelijk gaat hun wens in vervulling ! Ik ben heel blij voor hen, en wens ze het allerbeste voor de toekomst ! Natuurlijk een goede reden om een speciaal kaartje te maken, dat je hieronder ziet (jammer genoeg nog met kunstlicht getrokken). Ook de binnenkant is versierd, maar die laat ik, wegens privacy, niet zien.
Even if it's still wet and cold outside, the first signs of Spring are already here : birds singing, snowdrops and crocusses blooming, buds on the branches...
I've planted a pot with primula's on the front door, so it's a colourful welcome.
This week I also started some jobs in the garden, pruning and clearing the old wood, it's so good to be active outside ! I do hope that the sun comes soon, we all need it !!
There's also a little child coming, to a very kind couple, who had to wait a long time for it. At last, their wish is coming true !! I'm so glad for them and wish them all the best for the future !
Of course this was an opportunity to make a special card, which you can see above (unfortunately, still photographed with artificial light) .
